Hamilton Beach Juicer Review – Hamilton Beach 67650 Big Mouth Pro Juice Extractor

There are few juicers today which are both high-end and under $100. Most serious juicers know that to get a high-quality, long-lasting, no-nonsense juicer you need to pay at least $200. That’s why I was shocked when I found theHamilton Beach Big Mouth Pro Juicer. I’d heard of Hamilton Beach, but had no idea that they made top of the line juicers. My wife and I are big juicers – we start and end our days with a large glass. Once you try juicing, you’ll be hooked. Juicing is highly efficient because it brings you all the nutrients from the fruits and vegetables without the bulk of the body. It is so concentrated that you have to be careful at times even – it can give you a real rush of endorphins, and it’s that high that juicers thrive off of. There’s no better way to start your day than with a juice (a REAL juice, not some Sunny-D joke) from a Hamilton Beach Juicer.

Hamilton Beach Juicer Specs

Hamilton Beach 67650 Big Mouth ProThe Hamilton Beach juicer has a 1.1-horsepower motor. Considering that your average car has about 150 horsepower and lugs around over 2,000 pounds, this juicer packs a punch. The juicer is designed well, with an extra-large 3-inch-wide feed chute – you can dump your food in and the Hamilton Beach juicer will do all the work for you. There’s a stainless-steel micro-mesh strainer basket on the inside which catches all the particulate and pulp that would normally muck up your drink (and if you like the pulp you can always go and fish it out afterwards in the pulp bin). Hamilton Beach includes a specially designed brush for cleaning the juicer. This has come in handy more than once, as it’s important to keep your juicer clean. Luckily, Hamilton Beach also made the parts dishwasher-safe, so you can throw them in the wash if they need cleaning.

Foods that work really well with this juicer: mangoes, kiwis, watermelon, pomegranates (seeds only), strawberries (extra yummy and no seeds!), carrots, celery, and, for a creamy finish, yogurt.

A great accompaniment to your Hamilton Beach juicer is Natalie Savona’s highly-acclaimed Big Book of Juices and Smoothies. With over 365 recipes for healthy juice recipes, you get an easy to use and informative book on the best juices known to man. The Big Book of Juices and Smoothies has tons of nutritional information so you know that you’re getting the right nutrients and vitamins to meet your energy needs.

One of the biggest complaints about other juicers is that their motors don’t stand up to the test with bulk foods. As said earlier in this review, the Hamilton Beach juicer has a 1.1-horsepower motor, making it more than strong enough to cut through any material regularly used in juicing. When I bought this juicer, I had a minor problem with the engine (it was humming irregularly and sounded off balance). I called Hamilton Beach and received the most heartening customer service. The juicer comes with a 1-year warranty, but I’d had mine for 2 and a half years. The folks at Hamilton Beach were generous enough to send me a new one absolutely free! It’s great to know that there companies looking out for you in an age when it’s normally the opposite.

Hamilton Beach Juicer Customer Reviews

William from San Diego says:

This juicer is great! I bought it for $69 and change and could not be happier. I do not think there is anything this thing cannot juice! I decided to begin juicing for my physical and mental health, so I’m a novice. This machine is great. I read the reviews on Amazon before buying and I’m very impressed with this product. It juices easily, and I don’t mind the clean-up because that is not a hassle. I was about to purchase Jack LaLanne’s machine but after doing more research I’m glad I got this one for less money and the ease of operation. Just be sure to peel citrus, and tip the machine over a bit to get the remaining juice into the cup. Thanks much. I love the idea of throwing whole foods into it (fits a whole apple) and provides a tremendous amount of juice. I even got his thing to juice raw broccoli (which is kinda yucky by the way). Really strong motor absolutely destroys foods put into it and produces really dry pulp which tells me it is really working. You can even add a grocery bag to the pulp bin to make clean up even easier. Everything comes apart easily (AND GOES BACK TOGETHER EASY) and is dishwasher safe. No problems and one happy customer! The Hamilton Beach juicer is the only juicer that I recommend to my friends. Buy one today and join the family!

Tim from Orlando says:

My mother had a juicer from 30 years ago but it was starting to wear down. I decided to look around on Amazon.com and found this little juicing honey. The strainer is extra fine so you never get any fruit or vegetable pieces. Not that bad to clean either. I stuck in 3 carrots at a time and 3 celeries and it made juice like nothing. The juice was surprisingly smooth. Then I tried the ultimate test. I stuck in a whole apple, a pear, and grapes all at once and it devoured it like nothing. The juice was wonderful and smooth once again. If you’re looking for a gift for yourself, replacing an old one, or a gift for someone else, this is the best juicer I’ve ever seen. The motor is super powerful. You can stuff it with several fruits and/or vegetables at a time. The juice is very smooth and frothy. It’s easy to make smoothies with. I highly recommend this juicer! My mother loves it!
